Probmem with open up /EFI/refind/refind.conf

Hey Guys,

im kind of new to this. I once runned the LTS on a lenovo for work and travel around the globe. worked quite well.

now i'm with the macbook air. reading the manual "how to install" i stumbled over this step, which i'm unable to do.

please have a look at this part:

<span>After installtion of rEFInd we should make sure that it will find our USB</span> stick as an available boot<img src="http://cdncache1-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png" style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent ! important; border: medium none ! important; display: inline-block ! important; float: none ! important; height: 10px ! important; margin: 0px 0px 0px 3px ! important; min-height: 0px ! important; min-width: 0px ! important; padding: 0px ! important; vertical-align: super ! important; width: 10px ! important;" alt="" /> option for EFI. To do that open up /EFI/refind/refind.conf using a texteditor (I prefer Sublime Text) and search for the line starting with "scanfor" and change it to the following as shown in the screenshot and save the file:
scanfor internal,external,optical,manual

I am not in the posession of the knowledge to do this, please may someone who knows how to fullfil this part write me a description how to manage this part.

Thanks a lot guys
